Betty B. "Bette" D'Amico

Betty B. “Bette” D’Amico, 92, of Steubenville died Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at Valley Hospice. She was born May 8, 1927 in Steubenville. She is the daughter of the late James and Ruth Yocum Finley. Also preceding her in death is her son Mark Smith.

Bette was retired from Kroger where she worked in the meat department for many years. She was also an avid bridge and poker player.

Surviving are her husband Hugo, whom she married October 12, 1963; one son Hugo (Jane) D’Amico of Columbus; four daughters Deborah Ann (James) Booth of Mingo Jct., Pamela Lynn (Joe) McCullough of Columbus, Sharon Lee (Randy) Smith of Columbus and Toni Lynn D’Amico of Tampa, FL; one brother Bruce J (Victoria) Boggs of Toronto; ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Calling hours will be Sunday from 2-6 pm at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville. Additional visitation will be Monday from 10 am until time of services at 11 am at the funeral home, Pastor Nate Freeman will officiate. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery.
