Doris J. Luparello

Doris J. Luparello, 79, of Worthington, OH, formerly of Steubenville, died Saturday, December 8, 2018 in Columbus. She was born February 10, 1939 in Baxter, WV. She is the daughter of the late Luke and Mary Shimko Tonkovich. Also preceding her in death are her husband James Luparello Sr.; son James Luparello Jr.; brothers Louis and Richard Tonkovich; sisters Mildred Dellasandro and Mary "Eliz" Franks.

Doris was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.

Surviving are one daughter Kristen (Joseph) Reischman of Worthington; one brother Joseph (Pat) Tonkovich of Ocala, FL; three sisters Anne Henry of Millersville, PA, Josephine Ruether of Columbia, MO and Shirley (Jim) Barrackman of Warren, OH; two grandchildren James J. III and Allison; two great grandchildren Charlotte and James J. IV.

Calling hours will be Thursday from 4-7 pm at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset  Blvd., Steubenville. A funeral liturgy with Mass will be Friday at 10 am at Blessed Sacrament Church, Msgr. Kurt Kemo will celebrate. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. A vigil service will be Thursday at 4 pm.
