Edward Klonowski, 78, of Steubenville died Monday, May 20, 2019 at Valley Hospice. He was born August 27, 1940 in Steubenville. He is the son of the late Anthony and Bertha Lopatowicz Klonowski.
Edward retired from Timet where he worked as a Metallurgist for many years. Edward proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps. He was a member of the American Legion, Polish Athletic Club, PNA and was an avid golfer.
Surviving are his wife Carolyn Chiota Klonowski, whom he married August 4, 1962; one son Carl (Shannon) Klonowski of Southlake, TX; two daughters Lisa (Dan) Enich of Follansbee and Carmella Henkelman of Gilbert, AZ; one sister JoAnn Piccirillo of Wellsburg; six grandchildren, Mack, Chloe, Ava, Kade, Kendall, Francesca and his cat Toby Keith.
Calling hours will be Friday from 3-7 pm at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville. A funeral liturgy with Mass will be celebrated Saturday at 10 am at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Fr. Tim Huffman will celebrate. Burial will be private. A vigil service will be Friday at 3 pm. Full military honors will be preformed by the Ohio Valley Veterans Memorial Squad.
