Joseph Giovannone

Joseph Giovannone, 82, of Steubenville died Sunday, October 28, 2018 at Trinity West ER. He was born January 16, 1936 in Steubenville. He is the son of the late Joseph and Catherine Lamantia Giovannone. 
Joseph was retired from Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel, where he was a weigh master. 
Surviving are his wife Rita DiLeonardo Giovannone, whom he married June 25, 1955; three daughters Vickie Lynn (William) McKean of Austin, TX, Sharon Lee Kinemond of Wintersville and Kathy (David) Deptula of Steubenville; two brothers Richard "Buddy" (Mary Ann) Giovannone Of Steubenville and Michael (Lois) Giovannone of Tuscon, AZ; one sister Ethel (Jack) Bonar of CA; five grandchildren Billy, Danny, Rachel, Adrianna and Luke. 
Calling hours will be Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville. A funeral liturgy with Mass will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Fr. Ryan Gray will celebrate. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. A vigil service will be Thursday at 7:45 p.m.
