Margaret E. Madama

Margaret E. Madama, 94, of Steubenville died Thursday, February 14, 2019 at her home. She was born November 22, 1924 in Pittsburgh, PA. She is the daughter of the late Ernest and Dorothy Brula Xanopolous. Also preceding her in death are two brothers Joe and Frank Brula; one sister Mary DiBattista and Ex-husband Rudolph Madama.

Margaret was retired from Weirton Steel where she was a tin flopper for many years. She was also a member of the Weirton Steel 25 year club and she was an avid Big Red football fan.

Surviving are two sons Dennis of Wheeling and Jeff of Steubenville; two daughters Sheila (Milan) Suka and Linda Madama both of Worthington, OH; four grandchildren Mike, Jill, Jenna, Ellen and six great grandchildren.

Calling hours will be Sunday from 2-6 pm at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville. A funeral liturgy with Mass will be celebrated Monday at 10 am at St. Peter's Catholic Church, Fr. Tim Huffman will celebrate. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. A vigil service will be Sunday at 2 pm.
