Mary B. Cowser, 89, of Wintersville died Tuesday, January 7, 2020 at Valley Hospice. She was born June 18, 1930 in Baltimore, MD. She is the daughter of the late Pasquale and Flora Minella Corsi. Also preceded in death are her husband Harry Cowser; daughter Mary Darlene Cowser; three brothers Joseph, Phillip and Patrick Corsi; Cindy’s companion Albert White, Sr.
Mary was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church and was active in it’s Choir and CWC. She was also a member of the Funseekers and the Wintersville Little League Women’s Auxiliary.
Surviving are two sons Stephen (Kathi) and Dennis (Agren Fe Olave) Cowser of Wintersville; two daughters Beverly (Victor) Zrinyi and Cindy Cowser both of Wintersville; two brothers Victor Corsi of Steubenville and James (Joanne) Corsi of Glen Burnie, MD; three sisters Edith Rice and Antoinette “Cookie” (Joseph) Gibbons both of Wintersville and Margie (Ed) Zamana Winter Haven, FL; ten grandchildren Victor, Christopher (Cassie), Anthony (Rachel) Zrinyi, Joseph (Nicole), Jayson (Jayda), Justin (Rhiannon) Cowser, Lindsey (Jon), Adam (Kylee) and Matthew (Morgan) and Xzavier Cowser; seventeen great grandchildren with one on the way and many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Sunday from 2-6 pm at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville. A funeral liturgy with Mass will be celebrated Monday at 10 am at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Fr. Michael Gossett will celebrate. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. A vigil service will be Sunday at 2 pm.
