Peter L. Barilla

Peter L. Barilla, 91, of Steubenville died Saturday, September 15, 2018 at Trinity West. 
He was born July 13, 1927 in Ridgway, PA. He is the son of the late Santo and Carrie Maurizo Barilla.
He is also preceded in death his wife Agnes Barilla; son Peter Barilla; daughter Irene Teramana; brothers Dominck, Anthony and Patsy Barilla; two sisters Mena DiCaria and Mary Bruzzese. 
Peter was retired from the Steubenville Fire Dept. and Jefferson Co. Workshop. He was a member of Triumph of the Cross Parish. Peter loved gardening, painting, cooking and was an avid reader.
Peter proudly served his country in the Army during WWII. 
Surviving are two daughters Agnes Snyder and Virginia Barilla both of Steubenville; one sister Theresa "Chick" Mastriangioli of Las Vegas; four grandchildren Joseph, Geno (Desiree), Rachael and Corey; two great grandchildren Mia and Geno. 
Calling hours will be Wednesday from 3-6 p.m. at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville. A funeral liturgy with Mass will be celebrated Thursday at noon at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Fr. Tom Nau will celebrate. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. A vigil service will be held at 3 p.m.
