Reginald "Reggie" A. Mitchell, 90, of Steubenville died Thursday April 4, 2019 at Lancia's Villa Vista.
He was born May 8, 1928 in Steubenville. He is the son of the late George and Sarah Martin Mitchell.
Also preceding him in death are his first wife Mary Auteri Micthell; son Reginald Mitchell; two brothers Sonny and Bill Micthell.
Reggie was retired from Weirton Steel where he worked in the Tin Mill for many years. He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus Council 4361 and the American Legion Post 33. Reggie was also an avid bowler and golfer. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
Surviving are his wife of 44 years, Connie Dustolfo Mitchell; two sons, Douglas Mitchell of Las Vegas and Edward (Susan) Tennant of Florida; one daughter, Karen (Mike) Kinder-Cara of Washington State; one brother, Ronnie (Mary) Mitchell of Mingo Jct.; one sister, Tillie Manack of Florida; five grandchildren, Connie Lulla, David Kinder, Rocky Tennant, Jason Mitchell, Tiffany Slater and several great-grandchildren. Daughter-in-law, Sandy Mitchell.
Private services were held Monday and he was buried in Union Cemetery.
