Armando P. Sinicropi, 87, of Richmond, died Tuesday, February 23, 2021. He is the husband of Nancy Antonelli Sinicropi, to whom he was wed on June 11th of 1960. He was born June 5, 1933 in Reggio, Calabria, Italy. He is the son of the late Pasquale and Josephine Mueller Sinicropi. Also preceding him in death are one infant daughter Rosanna and one brother Michael Sinicropi.
Armando was a carpenter with the Local 186 and a boilermaker in the Local 154. He was a member of the Amateur Trapshooting Association, the NHRA (National Hot Rod Association), Knights of Columbus Council 4361, The Italian Sons and Daughters of America and was an avid soccer player.
Surviving are five sons, Pasquale of Steubenville, Armando (Leanne) of Richmond, Pietro (Kristine) of Hilliard, Mario Paul (Amy) of Richmond and Renato (Lisa) of Blacklick, OH; two sisters Antoinetta Pirrello and Elvira Falcomita both residing in Italy; as well as four grandsons and five granddaughters.
Calling hours will be Thursday from 4-7 pm at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville. A funeral liturgy with Mass will be held Friday at 10 am at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Fr. Michael Gossett will celebrate. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
