Celesta A. Mettenberger

Celesta A. Mettenberger, 55, of Wintersville died Thursday, June 9, 2022 at Weirton Medical Center. She was born May 24, 1967 in Steubenville. She is the daughter of Sandra Ballato Poole and the late Wilmer Ray Poole.

Celesta was a Registered Nurse and currently worked for Cigna as a Nurse Case Manager.

Surviving, in addition to her Mother, are three daughters Maci (Partner Kelly Carter) Mettenberger of Steubenville, Mallory (Partner Shawn Livingston) Mettenberger of Steubenville and Kaci (Lucas) Herrington of Weirton; one brother Raymond (Debbie) Poole of Wintersville; two grandchildren who were the center of her universe, Kali Carter and Saylor Livingston.

Calling hours will be held Monday from 3-6 pm at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville. A funeral service will be held Tuesday at 10 am at the funeral home, Pastor Rick Dawson will officiate. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery.
