Elizabeth "Betty" Holliday

Elizabeth “Betty” Holliday, 67, of Wintersville died Saturday, March 25, 2023 at Trinity West Hospital. She was born February 27, 1956 in Steubenville. She is the daughter of the late Frank and Eleanor Ricci Reda. Betty is also preceded in death by one nephew Robert Reda.

Betty was retired from the Holiday Inn where she worked for 28 years. She was an avid Steelers and Notre Dame football fan. Betty was a former one time bowling enthusiast. She was a graduate of Steubenville Catholic Central High School class of 1974 and was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.

Surviving are her husband David “Doc” Holliday, whom she married July 11, 1987; one son Sean Holliday of Wintersville; two brothers Bob (Karen) Reda of Las Vegas and Joe (Valerie) Reda of Las Vegas; one sister Sylvia (Walter) Kimbrough of Las Vegas; sister in law Doreen Leimkuehler; one nephew Rich Mayers; three nieces Angel & Natalie Reda and Shana French.

Calling hours will be held Wednesday from 2-6 pm at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville. A funeral liturgy with Mass will be celebrated on Thursday at 11:30 am at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Burial will take place at a later date.
