Joanne L. Chmelovski

Joanne L. Chmelovski, 83, of Wintersville, Ohio died Monday, April 5, 2021. She was born July 14, 1937 in Steubenville. She is the daughter of the late Joseph Rotunda and Mary Felsocy Neal. She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas J. Chmelovski; two sons Joseph and Thomas M. Chmelovski; one brother Michael Rotunda; step-father Robert “Slim” Neal Sr. and her step-mother Louise Rotunda.

Joanne was retired from the former Target Shop. She was a member of Mingo Jct. Senior Citizens, Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, and it’s CWC and St. Francis Society.

Surviving are two sons Michael (Luann) Chmelovski of Naperville, IL and Rick (Tracey) Chmelovski of Bowling Green, OH; three brothers Robert “Slim” (Jane) Neal Jr. of Cambridge, OH, Frank Rotunda of Texas and Joseph (Patty) Rotunda of Austin, TX; four grandchildren Krystan, Rachel, Jacob and Emily.

Calling hours will be Friday from 3-6 pm at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville. A funeral liturgy with Mass will be celebrated Saturday at 10 am at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Fr. Michael Gossett will celebrate. Burial will at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. A vigil service will be Friday at 5:45 pm.
