Julia I. Moore

Julia I. Moore, 85, of Steubenville died Monday, May 3, 2021 at Bolger Country Club Manor. She was born January 10, 1936 in Frazeysburg, OH. She is the daughter of the late Harold and Cecilia Ashcraft Van Allen. She is also preceded in death by one son Donald Moore and step-son David Moore.

Julia worked for Trinity Home Health as a CNA and was Catholic by faith. She loved playing nickel bingo at Heritage Village and was a loving Mother & Grandmother.

Surviving are two sons Sampson (Peggy) Moore of Bullard, TX and Robert W. Moore of Myrtle Beach, SC; one daughter Sharon (Roger) Wells of Steubenville; two step-daughters Mary (Alan) Bigler of Harpers Ferry, WV and Candy (Mike) Murphy of Toronto; one sister Dorothy Smith of Frazeysburg, OH; daughter-in-law Patricia Hutter of Wintersville; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.  

Calling hours will be Saturday from 9:30 am until time of Mass at 10:30 am at Holy Family Catholic Church. Burial will be private and at a later date.
