Mark Ensell Obituary

Mark A. Ensell, 61, of East Liverpool died Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at East Liverpool Hospital. He was born July 30, 1960 in Steubenville. He is the son of the late Harry “Hank” and Mary Jo Cole Ensell. Mark was retired from the Steubenville Police Department as a patrolman/detective for 28 years. He also served his country in the U.S. Marines. Mark was a graduate of Steubenville High School class of 1978. Surviving are his wife Christine Crites Ensell, whom he married June 6, 1991; two daughters Jene-e (fiancée Justin Irvin) of Weirton and Jessica (Brandon) Kanatus of Winchester, VA; one brother Patrick Ensell of Bloomingdale; one sister Karen Ensell of Dillonvale; one granddaughter Marlene Kanatus; mother in law Judith Livingston Crites; father in law Ronald Crites and brother in law Rob Crites.
