Mary E. Hagerty

Mary E. Snedeker Hagerty, 92, of Wintersville died Thursday, January 7, 2021 at Lancia Villa Vista. She was born May 2, 1928 in Steubenville. She is the daughter of the late Lee and Margaret Haines Snedeker. Also preceding her in death are a brother Wayne Snedeker and sister Betty Arcadia.

Mary was retired from Weirton Steel where she worked as a crane operator for 27 years. She loved working on ceramic crafts, music and reading.

Surviving are two sons Camel (Sherry) Lamatrice of Huntsville, TX and William (Marilyn) Lamatrice; one daughter Toni (Tony) Fuscardo of Steubenville; one brother Bill Snedeker of Canton; one sister Connie Clark of Weirton; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She also leaves behind her dear long time friends Jackie Longo and her daughter Gloria Reynolds.  

The family would like to thank the nurses and aides at Villa Vista for the loving care of our mother.

Private services were held Tuesday and burial was in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
