Nancy J. Gibson

Nancy Jean (Berardi) Gibson, 60, of Wintersville entered into her eternal life, Sunday, June 26, 2022 at her home with her husband and two dogs by her side, and just minuets after a late morning visit from her family. She was born August 15, 1961 in Steubenville, the daughter of Dorothy (Bennington) and the late Frank Berardi.

Nancy was a graduate of Steubenville Catholic Central High School class of 1979. She had worked at Trinity West Hospital in the billing department for many years. In her time off, she enjoyed playing computer games, slots online, and with her beloved beagles, Dewey and Lucy, who will miss her terribly.

Surviving is her husband Patrick, whom she married October 12, 2001; one stepson, Patrick Gibson of Myrtle Beach, SC; brothers, David (Donna) Berardi of Wintersville, Ralph (Kim) Berardi of Steubenville, and Joe (Teri) Berardi of Naples, FL; one sister Joni Berardi-Williams of Mentor, OH; nephews and nieces, Dom, and Derek Berardi; Rachel, Brianna, and Anthony Core; Frankie, Mikey, and Johnny Berardi, and great-nephews, Daniel, Joey Berardi; and Dante Core. Nancy was about to become a great-aunt to another great-nephew any time now. Special thanks to her bestie Lori DeStefano, Cathy, Karen and all the ladies she worked with. Nancy will be cremated, and entombment will take place in Mt. Calvary Cemetery at a later date.
